补充资料:绍兴塔山
【塔山】又名怪山、飞来山、宝林山、龟山,海拔29.4米。在绍兴城区南门内,与府山、蕺山鼎足而立。传说从琅?东海中飞来,故名飞来山,也称怪山。山上原有宝林寺,故又名宝林山。山远望似龟形,故又名龟山。山上有应天塔,俗名塔山。越王句践曾在此山上建"怪游台"以仰望天气,观察天怪,恐是我国最早的天文台。但它和旧有的巨人迹、锡杖痕、宝林寺、圣母阁、望云楼,均已成为历史陈迹。应天塔系绍兴市重点文物保护单位,位于塔山之巅,始建于东晋。山上原有宝林寺。晋末,寺内沙门昙彦与许询一同造塔,塔未成,许询亡故。后由昙彦与他人建成该塔。唐乾符元年(874)重建,宝林寺改名应天寺,塔随寺名。明嘉靖前几经毁废。1524年复建。万历年间修葺。清宣统二年(1910)旧历七月半,习俗盂兰盆会,塔内失火,楼板楼梯焚毁,成空心砖塔。1985年重修后,6角7层,砖木混合楼阁式,底边长3.37米,壁厚1.64米。塔身由底向上逐层缩小,造型庄严,色彩协调。同年也对塔山作了全面布局设计,疏浚了灵鳗河,上架石砌拱桥,名灵鳗桥,桥南新建仿唐建筑清凉寺,台地四周筑回廊,使之成为玲珑优美的景点。今为飞来山公园。
