According to the development of bamboo charcoal industry in China and outside,this paper introduces actived bamboo charcoal and its applications in water purification,and points out actived bamboo charcoal\'s funcation of pollutants removing which includes adsorption and degradation by the biological membrane around,which plays an important role in water environmental protection.
