性质:又称耐温度急变性测定法或热稳定性测定法。测定陶瓷制品或材料抵抗外界温度急剧变化而不引起破坏的能力。它是陶瓷及耐火材料重要的性能指标。有两种测定方法:(1)将试件加热到某一给定温度,保温一定时间,然后淬冷至室温(20℃)的水中而不出现裂纹(破坏),以能反复经受的“次数”作为耐温度急变性的指标;(2)加热后淬冷,但加热温度逐步升高,取试件破坏时的温度作为耐温度急变性指标。影响陶瓷材料抗热震性的因素很多,其中主要有材料的强度、热膨胀系数、导热率、弹性模量以及材料显微组织中晶相、玻璃相、气相等含量与分布等。凡在温度剧变情况下使用的陶瓷制品,必须直接测定其抗热震性。
