位于黑龙江漠河县西林吉镇北43公里，北极村南32公里处，始建于1889年，史称漠河金厂、漠河金矿局，现称老沟金矿。清朝时，这里的金子为慈禧太后换过胭脂，又称胭脂沟。至今已有一百多年的开采历史，现在的金矿于1989年建成投产，1990年黄金产量为4,433,295两。 除1987年受５.６火灾的影响外，年年超产，经济效益较好。老沟金矿1号船，单船产量突破2000两，老沟金矿现有职工137人，矿址上有砖木结构办公室、职工宿舍、食堂、材料库、机修车间、发电站，有独立的财务、材料后勤、行政等矿务机构，整个矿区除了生产用地之外还有李金镛祠堂遗址，埋葬了5国500多名妓女的墓葬群、采金文化陈列馆、胭脂亭。
