This paper presents the necessity of application of Computer-aided Blend technology in distilled spirit production, introduces a MATLAB-Based assistant software on blend of distilled spirit, analyses the advantages and deficiencies of that, and sets out a solution for it.

In view of the current problem that the computer-assisted blending technology could not make full use of its advantages to optimize and obtain the blending prescription of the lowest production cost and most enjoyable taste, further investigation was made in this paper.
