Experimental results show that iron-tailings,owing to the existences of trace elements,play an important role in improving the sinterability of the raw meals and decreasing the calcination temperature.

In the paper the sinterability experiment of ordinary portaland cement shows that iron tailings may improve the sinterability of cement raw material and can decrease the calcination temperature by XRD.
应用ＸＲＤ，ＳＥＭ 和化学分析等方法，对利用铁尾矿作原料烧制普通硅酸盐水泥的易烧性进行试验研究。

Results show that sinterability of cement raw materials was fine and was clearly improved by increasing the temperature,the main phases of the sintered cement clinker were C3S and C2S.
通过岩相观察和XRD分析结果表明,实验所用生料易烧性较好,并随温度提高而明显改善,所制备的水泥熟料的主晶相是C3S和C2S。
