The SIMATIC S7 series PLC was used to control the whole manufacture process in annular lime kiln for producing active lime at Jigang Baode Loading Company.

According to the structural characteristic of 300 t/d circular sleeve kiln in Limestone Mine of Benxi Steel-iron company and the lime burning mechanic, this paper analyses and discusses theoretically problems on the equipment and process since the sleeve kiln went into operation, finds out causes of problems and advances methods of solving problems.

In retrospect of the production practice of the two annular shaft kilns in last three years,we ve summarized a series of precious experience,not only in the process of producing high quality,active metallurgic lime,but also in the maintenance of annular shaft kiln.
