八木火 松、柏、竹、橘、榆、枳、桑、枣八各木材燃烧的火。古时认为此八木火不宜用于艾灸的燃点。《黄帝虾蟆经·辨灸火木法》：“八木之火以灸，人皆伤血脉肌肉骨髓。”《外台秘要》卷十九：“《小品》论灸有八木火”；“凡八木之火，皆不可用也。”清·《医宗金鉴》：“灸治古忌八木火，今时通行一炷香。”说明当时灸治一般采用线香点火。
