性质:将固体燃料(如煤、焦炭等)燃烧气化以生产半水煤气或水煤气的一种方法。主要用于制取合成氨原料气和全成甲醇原料气。将空气逆流送入煤气发生炉(UGI煤气炉)使煤或焦炭燃烧(工业上称为吹风阶段),放出的热积蓄在燃料床层内,接着停止送入空气改为通入水蒸气进行吸热的气化反应(工业上称为制气阶段)。炉渣从炉篦排出。由吹风和制气两个阶段形成一个工作循环。如此吹风和制气循环进行,因而操作是间歇的。
