性质:碳纤维制得的非织造物。与碳毡的差异在于厚度薄些,性能随所选用的起始原料和制法而异,多采用沥青熔喷法碳纤维非织造物,以中间相沥青碳纤维非织造物为例,单丝纤度0.32dtex,强度2.25GPa,模量147GPa。制法有:(1)将通用级沥青、中间相或氢化中间相沥青熔喷成非织造物,再预氧化和碳化;(2)将碳短纤维经梳棉和气流成网并针刺等制得。用途是作复合材料增强剂、耐腐蚀和抗氧化过滤材料、导电材料和绝热材料等。
