【信用政策】亦称“货币信用政策”。一国中央银行对社会资本运动进行宏观控制和管理而实施的措施。它可分为两个方面:在量的方面，对社会资本作适当调节，满足经济发展的需要。控制的基本方式是通过三大货币政策工具:即存款准备金政策、再贴现政策和公开市场业务来实施;在质的方面，对社会资本作有效分配，干预资金的流向和用途。一般通过选择性的信用控制来进行。如信用分配、消费者信用控制等等。
