嘉陵江源头风景区位于陕西宝鸡市南郊、川陕公路三十三公里处的秦岭之巅。属天台山国家森林公园四大风景区之一，总面积三千六百公顷，著名的嘉陵江发源于景区内海拔二千八百多米的嘉陵谷中。
秦岭是中国南北气候的分界线，亦是长江、黄河水系的分水岭。景区内景点40多处，奇峰突兀，水流清澈，森林茂密，四季景色迷人。七女峰苍翠秀丽，济公石、飞来石惟妙惟肖，飞云瀑、黑龙潭气势雄伟……自然景观，神工天成，美不胜收。
