崇圣寺三塔。位于原崇圣寺正前方,呈三足鼎立。三塔建于南诏丰佑年间(公元823~859年),大塔先建,南北小塔后建。三塔中的大塔又名千寻塔,高69.13米,为16级密檐式方型砖塔。塔以白灰涂面,每级四面有龛,相对两龛供佛像,另两龛为窗洞,塔内装有木骨架,循梯可达顶层。塔顶有金属塔刹宝盖、宝顶和金鸡等,底部镶嵌着镌刻在大理石上的“永镇山川”四个大字,此为沐英后裔孙世阶所书。面北两小塔均高43米,加10级密檐式八角形砖塔,外观装饰成阁楼式,每角有柱,每级设平座第4、6级有斗棋,顶端有镏金塔刹宝顶,华丽非常。三塔是大理“文献名邦”的象征,是大理古代文化的象征,早在1961年3月,就被国务院颁布为第一批全国重点文物保护单位。
