【永生】
（术语）谓涅槃也。涅槃为不生之法，故不灭。取不灭之义，而曰永生。又谓弥陀之净土。生于净土，则悉为无量寿，故曰永生。问：既有生，何无灭？答曰：净土之生，生即无生也，生已，即证无生之理故，永生不灭也。无量寿经下曰：“度世长寿泥洹之道。”又曰：“可获极长生寿，乐无有极。”观经玄义分曰：“开示长劫之苦因，悟入永生之乐果。”
