性质:一种非金属管。用塑料制成的管材的总称。主要用硬(质)聚氯乙烯塑料,也可用石棉酚醛塑料(法奥利特)、聚乙烯、聚1-丁烯,改性聚丙烯和增强塑料(玻璃钢)等制成。质轻,耐腐蚀性良好,加工容易,可任意弯曲或压制成各种形状。但传热性和耐热性较差,不能用于较高的温度。例如硬聚氯乙烯管,仅允许用于-15-60℃。承受压力一般在19.6帕(2公斤力/厘米2)左右。石棉酚醛塑料管可用于130℃。热水管道目前均用耐热性高的氯化聚氯乙烯或聚1-丁烯制造。
