【九辙】
 (名数)九种轨辙之意。秦道融始讲罗什译之法华经,开为九辙,即分判法华为九科也。法华玄论一曰:“及罗什至长安。翻新法华竟。道融讲之。开为九辙。时人呼为九辙法师。九辙之文。今所未见。讲新法华。始乎融也。”法华文句记八之四曰:“什译才毕,睿便讲之,开为九辙。时人呼为九辙法师。一者昏圣相扣辙,即序品是。次有七辙,即是正宗:一者涉教归真辙,为上根人(方便品)。二者兴类潜彰辙,为中根人(譬喻品)。三者述穷通昔辙,中根领解(信解品)。四者彰因进悟辙,为下根人。即化城授记。五赞扬行李辙,即法师品,为如来使。六本迹无生辙,即多宝品。多宝不灭,释迦不生。多宝为本,释迦为迹。本既不灭,迹岂有生。本迹虽殊,不思议一。七举因征果辙,即踊出寿量品,弥勒举因征果,佛举寿量因果所由。八称扬远济辙,即随喜去讫经。属流通也。”是盖为什译法华经科释之嚆矢,当时著名者,惟详细之解说,今不传。又出于法华传二等。
