性质:简称微乳。通常由油、水、表面活性剂、助表面活性剂和电解质等组成的透明或半透明的液状稳定体系。分散相的质点小于0.1μm,甚至小到数十埃。其特点是分散相质点大小在0.01~0.1μm间,质点大小均匀,显微镜不可见;质点呈球状;乳液呈半透明至透明,极稳定,用离心机亦不能使之分层;与油、水在一定范围内可混溶。分散相为油、分散介质为水的体系称为O/W型微乳状液,反之则称为W/O型微乳状液。微乳液一般需加较大量的表面活性剂,并需加入辅助表面活性剂(如极性有机物,一般为醇类)方能形成。广泛应用于工业生产中,如地板抛光蜡液,机械切削油等。微乳液在石油开采中用于提高采收率。
