法赫德安全学院，已有50多年的历史。该院初创于圣城麦加。后搬迁到现址首都利雅得，隶属于内务部，主要为内务部队培训军官。
学院主要招收高中毕业生和社会青年。一般学习时间是3年。学院主要课程设置有：阿拉伯语、警察学、犯罪学、罪犯心理学、刑法、伊斯兰法、古兰经、国际法、神学、法医学、社会秩序保障方法、君主制国家管理知识、鉴定侦察、经济学、驾驶、武器的运用、射击学、格斗等。军兵种知识、地形学和通信是军事课程重点。学员毕业后获安全学士学位，并被授予中尉军衔。
