【右旋糖酐】(dextran)亦称“萄聚糖”。化学式`(C_6H_10O_5)_n`，分子量8-14万。白色粉末，无臭，无味。易溶于热水，不溶于乙醇。比旋光度`[\alpha]_D^25 190`～`200`度（C=1，水）。由蔗糖以肠膜状明串珠菌-1226发酵后生成高分子葡萄糖聚合物，再经处理精制而得。中分子右旋糖酐为血浆代用品，有增加血容量的作用；低分子右旋糖酐有改善微循环和抗血栓作用。
