During 1:250000 pilot digital mapping in Hefei,Lu~n and Bengbu in Anhui Province,we initially sum- marized a set of relative mature methods for Quaternary borehole record entry and its column graph making through a period of trying in this aspect.

Digital geological mapping has promoted the development of open and steady in our country, but still there are some inadequacies, these deficiencies affect the accuracy and speed of our mapping work, is not conducive to the digital geological mapping of the further development.
