用一对某项经济业务，按两种不同的计价进行核算对比，借以确定其业务成果的账户。计对比账户的结构特点是：借方登记某项经济业务的一种计价，贷方登记该项业务的另一种计价；期末将两种计价进行对比，据以确定成果。典型的计价对比账户如“本年利润”账户，该账户的贷方登记各项收入，借方登记各项费用和成本，将借、贷方发生进行对比，即可确定本期的经营成果。在材料按计划成本计价的情况下，“材料采购”账户也是计价对比账户，其借方登记采购材料的实际成本，贷方登记入库材料的计划成本，两者（实际成本与计划成本）进行比较，可以确定材料成本差异。
