伊犁草原

无论是声名在外的那拉提草原,还是后起之秀的唐不拉草原,抑或是传统的牧场巩乃斯草原,伊犁草原均展现出超然绝美的气质与外表。伊犁河谷是如此的卓尔不群,逶迤千里,生机无限。

传说成吉思汗西征时,有一支蒙古军队由天山深处向伊犁进发,时值春季,山中却是风雪弥漫,饥饿和寒冷使这支军队疲乏不堪,不想翻过山岭,眼前却是一片繁花织锦的莽莽草原,泉眼密布,流水淙淙,犹如进入了另一个世界,这时云开日出,夕阳如血,人们不由的大叫“那拉提(有太阳),那拉提”于是留下了这个地名。

那拉提草原是发育在第三纪古洪积层上的中山地草场,东南接那拉提高岭,势如屏障,西北沿巩乃斯河上游谷地断落,地势大面积倾斜,山泉密布,溪流纵横。缘山脚冲沟深切,河道交错,森林茂密,莽原展缓起伏,松塔沿沟擎柱,还有毡房点点,畜群云移,是巩乃斯草原的重要夏牧场。

那拉提风景区位于新源县的那拉提镇镜内,位于楚鲁特山北坡,以那拉提镇旅游接待站为核心,包括周围草原、赛马场等众多景点。这里充满山村的宁静与祥和。河谷阶地发育明显,山势和缓,坡度约11—12度,生长着茂盛的细茎鸢尾群系山地草甸。其它伴生种类主要有糙苏、假龙胆、苔草、冰草、羊茅、草莓和百里香等。6—9月,各种野花开遍山岗,红、黄、蓝、紫五颜六色,将草原点缀得绚丽多姿。
