    性状  白色至微灰色粉末。密度6.95g/cm3。熔点1127℃。1800-1900℃升华。溶于硫酸、热浓盐酸,微溶于氢氧化钠或氢氧化钾溶液,不溶于水、醇、氨水和冷酸。与热浓的氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾共熔能生成锡酸钠。与硝酸不起作用。
    应用领域  无机工业用于锡盐制造。颜料工业中与铬酸盐、石灰、钒、氯等不同配合,可得扔红色、米黄色、黄色、紫金色等不问颜色,作为陶瓷、搪瓷的着色剂。玻璃工业用作玻璃磨光剂,以及用于制造不透明玻璃、乳白玻璃等。印染工业用作织物的媒染剂和增重剂。还用作分拆化学试剂,钢和大理石的磨光剂,有机合成催化剂等。此外,用于制造搪瓷、电磁材料。
