性质:又称假相色谱法(pseudophase chromatography)。即用表面活性剂的胶束水溶液作为流动相的色谱法。由美国阿姆斯特朗(D. W. Armstrong)等人于1979年首先提出,用于薄层色谱和高效液相色谱。表面活性剂在结构上都具有两亲基团,在水中形成亲水基向外的正胶束。最早的胶束色谱系指正胶束色谱。它的分离原理是基于溶质在固定相,水相和胶束(也可视为胶束相)三者之间的分配。后发展出反(逆)胶束色谱,即流动相为表面活性剂在非极性的有机溶剂中(含少量水)形成疏水基向外的反胶束。胶束体系与溶质问的作用主要为静电、疏水和空阻。胶束对有机化合物有增溶作用,对荧光、磷光物质的检测有增敏作用。这使它具有不同于一般色谱的特点和选择性。表面活性剂不仅用于流动相,也用于浸渍涂敷固定相。已在无机物、有机物、药物、染料和生化样品的分离与分析中得到广泛应用。表面活性剂已用于各类色谱技术,形成了色谱的新领域,并不断完善与发展,重点在提高分离效率。
