Development of polypropylene/basalt wrapped yarn

On the basis of measurement results of its shrinkage in boiling water, it is pointed out that the elastic property of silk/polyurethane wrapped yarns can roughly reflect its elastic characteristics.

The experimental results show how the wrap fibre and the core fibre of air -jet spinning are consisted of and the effect of the fineness of polyester fibre on the number of wrap fibre in air - jet spun yarn blended with cotton is also investigated.
