The authors have analysed the earthquakes with Ms3 in Bohai area,and found that the special seismicity diagrams of belts or gaps of earthquakes with Ms3 since 1970 reflect the stress field evolution in this area.

Based on a vast amount of data from thin section,X ray diffraction,SEM and mercury penetration analysis,reservoir diagenesis and porosity evolution are studied for Tertiary Guantao Shahejie Formation sandstones in Bozhong area,recognizing some diagenetic stages and resulting in a primary diagenetic model.

In Boxi area, traps develop along major faults and on uplifted zones, with downthrown sides of boundary faults dominated by rollover anticlines and faulted noses, and uplifted or low uplifted zones dominated by buried hills, draping anticlines.
