    棕黑色粘稠重质石油产品。又称残渣燃料油。由原油蒸馏、热裂化等过程所得的渣油制得,也可由页岩油加工或煤液化等获得。广泛用作船舶锅炉、大型低速柴油机、发电站锅炉,玻璃、陶瓷、金属热处理、冶炼等工业加热过程的燃料。燃料油性能要求主要有:①粘度。反映输送性能和雾化性能。②闪点。油品遇明火发生闪火的最低温度,反映贮运,使用时的安全性能。③含硫量。反映油品对设备的腐蚀性能。④沉积物及机械杂质。影响油品的输送,会堵塞油路、过滤器和喷嘴。
