Central Coal Mining Research Institute
煤炭科学研究总院(Central Coal MiningReseareh Institute)中国煤炭工业综合性研究机构。1957年在北京成立。主要从事煤田地质勘探、采矿工程、采矿机电与自动化、煤矿安全、煤炭加工利用与煤化工、煤矿环境工程、煤矿高新技术和煤炭经济等专业的基础研究、应用研究、技术开发和新技术推广工作。在北京设有4个研究所和高新技术开发中心，在西安、唐山、上海、太原、抚顺、重庆、南京、杭州、合肥、常州和淮北等地有6个分院，5个研究所和一个科研试制中心;拥有一批具有80年代国际先进水平的现代化试验室，7个国家级、5个部级质量监督检测中心，具有多学科综合性科技攻关能力，承担全国煤炭工业产品的质量监督检验测试工作。煤炭科学研究总院现有职工7 800多人，其中专业技术人员占60%以上，有高级技术职称的科技人员1 500多人。拥有煤田地质、采矿工程和有机化工专业的博士授予权，矿山建设工程、采矿工程、煤矿安全工程、有机化工、矿山机械工程和煤田地质专业的硕士授予权。 建院30多年来，共取得科研成果2 700多项，其中4项获国家发明奖，150多项获国家级科技进步奖，380多项获部级科技进步奖。重大科技成果有:煤矿岩溶水综合防治技术，深厚含水层与冲积层特殊凿井技术，井巷掘进技术，综合机械化和普通机械化采煤技术与成套设备，水力采煤技术与设备，煤矿供电技术，建筑物下、水体下与铁路下采煤技术、煤矿瓦斯、矿尘、水、火、煤岩突出、冲击地压和滑坡等防治和监控技术，煤质测试分析技术，煤炭洗选技术与设备，煤气化技术等。 煤炭科学研究总院与国外十几个主要采煤国家的煤炭科研机构建立了合作关系，参加9个国际学术组织。合作方式包括专家互访、进修、讲学和合作研究等。近年合作研究取得了良好效果·。例如与波兰合作研制的电牵引薄煤层采煤机达到国际先进水平，已在中波两国推广使用。目前，正与日本合作进行煤与瓦斯突出和煤矿火灾防治的研究，与俄罗斯合作开发高级瓦斯警报仪等。总院还承担联合国的中国岩溶水治理和煤层气开发研究项目，以及帮助发展中国家开展煤炭研究工作的任务。 随着科技体制改革逐步深化，该院以煤为本，面向市场，发展科技实业，成立了中煤科技实业开发总公司等几十个科工贸实业公司，开办了巴特注浆工程公司等中外合资企业。(苗素生)
