薄荷脑 薄荷脑 拼音名：Bohenao 英文名：MENTHOLUM 书页号：2000年版一部-311 C10H20O 156.27 本品为薄荷素油中得到的一种饱和的环状醇。
【性状】
本品为无色针状或棱柱状结晶或白色结晶性粉末；有薄荷的特殊香气， 味初灼热后清凉；乙醇溶液显中性反应。 本品在乙醇、氯仿 、乙醚 、液状石蜡或挥发油中极易溶解，在水中极微溶解。 熔点 应为42～44℃（附录Ⅶ C）。 比旋度 取本品 精密称定，加乙醇制成每1ml 含0.1g的溶液，依法测定（附录 Ⅶ E），比旋度应为－49°至－50°。
【鉴别】
(1) 取本品1g，加硫酸20ml使溶解，即显橙红色，24小时后析出无薄荷 脑香气的无色油层（与麝香草酚的区别）。 (2) 取本品50mg，加冰醋酸1ml 使溶解，加硫酸6 滴与硝酸1 滴的冷混合液，仅显 淡黄色（与麝香草酚的区别）。
【检查】
不挥发物 取本品2g，置称定重量的蒸发皿中，在水浴上加热，使缓缓 挥散后，在105℃干燥至恒重，遗留残渣不得过1mg 。
【功能与主治】
同薄荷素油。
【用法与用量】
0.02～0.1g，多入片剂含服。或入醑剂、软膏剂，外用涂患处。
【贮藏】
密封，置阴凉处。
