magnetostrictive effect
物理学术语。铁磁材料在外磁场作用下产生弹性应变的现象。应变与磁场极性无关。这一效应包括其逆现象,即机械应力使铁磁材料内产生磁感应变化的现象。具有此效应的材料称为磁致伸缩材料,包括金属镍、铁钴钒合金、铝铁合金和铁氧体等。使用此类材料作换能材料制成的换能器,称为磁致伸缩换能器,可用于超声学检查等。
