2,6-Bis(4-carboxyphenoxy) benzonitrile(BCPOBN) is prepared by condensation of 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile(DFBN) and p-hydroxybenzoic acid(p-HDBC) in the presence of KOH and DMSO.
