淮堤安澜从1999年开始建设,借助城市防洪加固工程的资金投入,结合创建园林城市同步进行。截止目前,淮堤安澜建设已初具规模。
淮堤安澜绿化总面积206亩,其中甲级园林面积76亩,绿色长廊面积130亩。建设的主要设施有防洪墙青石雕艺栏杆1100米,白玉雕艺栏杆810米,合计石栏杆1900米。标志型铜制雕塑安澜牛一组,投资价值60万元。树凳雕塑60余组,游廊一处,卵石小路150多米,植观赏树木4000多株,草坪、花卉面积12000平方米。淮堤安澜集防汛抗洪、休闲娱乐观光、绿化、美化城市为一体,现在成了安徽田家庵城市多功能区一处表表靓丽的风景线,是城市市民休闲娱乐的好去处。
