劫，梵语具云劫波，华言分别时节。梵语三昧，华言正定。顶寂定者，在众定之上，故名顶也。谓等觉菩萨住顶寂定，以大愿力，住寿百劫，修一切三昧已，入金刚三昧，与一切法性相应相冥而得一合相也。（等觉者，去佛之位一等也。金刚三昧者，金刚最坚至利，谓入此三昧，则一切诸惑无不断也。）
