| 帚尾鼠科 Platacanthomyidae；chinese pygmy dormouse 啮齿目的一科。是一种非常稀有的动物，共2属2种。帚尾鼠和刺毛鼠分布于中国和印度。帚尾鼠又称猪尾鼠，体长8～9厘米，尾长10厘米以上；外形像鼠，但其尾比较奇特，尾毛稀疏，鳞片裸露，由中段向尖端，暗褐色的尾毛逐渐变长、变密，尾端有向四周生出白色长毛，构成帚状毛簇；耳大裸露无毛；身体被细密的长毛；整个体背均为褐灰色，腹面浅灰色。现今仅发现于中国福建、广西、云南、贵州，以及越南和缅甸等邻近中国的山地森林中。 刺毛鼠的体长约为帚尾鼠的2倍。但尾长不超过10厘米。因背毛中混生一些刺毛而得名。产于印度南部。 |
