| 产地及产期: 暖水种，生活在低潮线下水深1米左右的砂滩上。产于海南岛三亚沿海，见于我国台湾和西沙群岛，广布于印度—西太平洋热带海区。 | |
| 介绍: 贝壳粗壮，是本科中最大的一种。螺层约18层。每一螺层的中部刻有一条细的螺沟，将壳面分为近等的上下两部，在体螺层和次体层上螺沟则不明显。生长纹细密。壳表由淡黄色和白色相间的环带组成，并有纵走的白色线纹。每一螺层上还饰有二列深紫褐色斑块。内唇扭曲，有一明显的褶襞。 |
