Pretreatment method of lignocellulosic materials for bioethanol production;

Enzymatic hydrolysis is one of the key procedures in the fuel ethanol production from lignocellulosic materials.

The rate of sugar was below 20% in lignocellulose enzymatic hydrolysis directly and the sugars were mainly from hemicellulose.

Based on the analyses of the technologies of producing fuel ethanol from lignocellulose materials in America, Japan and Canada, pretreatment of lignocellulose materials, production technologies for hydrolysis of cellulose to glucose, and fermentation of materials to produce ethanol, as well as comprehensive utilization of the distillers grains were appraised and discussed in this paper.

In the early 1970′S,the crisis of petroleum had made biocnversion of lignocellulose.

Analysis and predictions are made as regards the present condition and the prospect of the wood fiber raw material and construc-tion investment in Chinas papermaking industry.

It is an important aspect to solve the China’s shortage in paper industry raw materials, protect ecological environment and harness pollution by scientifically and rationally utilizing non-wood raw materials.
