This paper introduces principle of vinyl ester resin (acrylic modified epoxy resin) to resist chemicals and heat and with overseas use examples, narrates that coatings from vinyl resin can solve the present problems in oil storage tank, improve the corrosion resistance level and will be the development trend of oil storage tank.
