分子式C22H24N2O8,分子量444.45。化学名称2,6-脱氧土霉素盐酸盐。由土霉素脱氧而得的一种广谱半合成四环素族抗菌素。黄色结晶粉末,无臭味苦。熔点约208℃。溶于水,微溶于乙醇、丙酮,不溶于乙醚和苯。抗菌谱与四环素、土霉素基本相同,但其具有长效、高效、速效、毒性小、剂量小、副作用小等特点。对上呼吸道感染、急慢性支气管炎、肺炎、肠道感染、细菌性痢疾等有明显疗效。可由土霉素经氯化、氢化等反应在6-α-位脱氧制得。
