Based on detailed researches of the existing geological data,the authors consider that the Xigou area and Yindonggou silver deposit are similar in geological settings,geochemical and geophysical characteristics,etc.

According to geochemistry of ores and rocks in the Dongzigou area, it is inferred that the formation of Dongzigou silver deposit has no relations with marine volcanism, and has the basic characters of typical sedimentary.
