| 舟山市 位于中国浙江省东北部，舟山岛上。面积1371平方千米，市区987平方千米；1991年人口96.99万，有汉、回、苗、满等民族。历史上名称屡有变更，清初设定海县，后设直隶厅；1912年复置定海县，1953年析东部区域置普陀县，1987年两县合并置舟山市，现为地级市。地形以山地丘陵为主，四面环海，多岛屿；属亚热带海洋性季风气候。夏秋常受台风影响。为中国著名渔场，盛产大黄鱼、小黄鱼、海蜇、紫菜、墨鱼、带鱼等；农产品有稻谷、番薯、大麦、花生、棉花、茶叶等；工业在发展渔业服务的基础上，已形成食品加工、机械家电、纺织服装三大支柱行业。土特产有金塘李子、火鸡、皋泄杨梅、普陀水仙、定海白鹅、二棱大麦、黄杨尖芽茶、普陀佛茶、海产品等。名胜古迹有国家自然保护区普陀山、嵊泗国家自然保护区、三忠祠、同归城、平倭陵、祖印禅寺、复翁堂、岱山刑马缆、白泉十字路新石器时代遗址、舟山革命烈士陵园等。
