补充资料:“大青花鱼”号常规动力高速试验艇

“大青花鱼”号是美国海军的常规动力高速试验艇,主要用于试验流体动力学。潜艇艇体第一次采用鲸鱼型的流线型,因而它比当时其它的常规潜艇速度快(水上25节,水下30节以上),机动性好。它成了美国和其它西方国家后来建造高速潜艇(不论是核潜艇还是常规潜艇)的主要标本。“大青花鱼”号经过几次改装,其中第三次改装将艉舵改成x型结构,也就是将以前的布置相对地转过45度,用以提高舵的效率。第四次改装采用了银锌电池和反转螺旋桨,大幅度提高了水下推进电机的单机功率,由6500马力提高到15000马力。此外,在“大青花鱼”号潜艇上还进行了声纳和其它许多设计方案的试验,试验取得明显效果的是艇型。美国的“鲣鱼”级攻击核潜艇就是采用了这种水滴形减小水下阻力达到高速性的。
