行气

    道教进行呼吸修炼功法的总称。又称服气、食气、炼气。道教认为善行气者,可以达到“内以养生,外以却恶”的养生目的。战国时期,行气、服食、房中术同为当时方术三流派,《庄子·刻意》“吹呴呼吸,吐故纳新”即指行气养生内修方法。魏晋南北朝以后,各种行气方法大量流行,仅《云笈七垽·诸家气法》中所载就有数十种。具体做法不一,但原则大致相同,要求密室闭户,无思无虑,不动喜怒忧恚,平心静气。呼吸时做到轻、缓、匀、长、深,使五脏安和,气机调顺。修炼行气功法时,多配合导引、按摩法,“导气令和,引体令柔”,以求肢体关节舒展柔和,血脉流通,使气行更见成效。行气法今归入气功功法内,其最基本、最重要的即是调整呼吸节奏,加大呼吸深度,扩展肺的吐纳功能,达到养生、健身的目的。
