| 喇叭虫属 Stentor 原生动物门多膜纲异毛目喇叭科的一属。因体形如喇叭而得名。身体呈各种色彩。全身披有均匀的体纤毛，在体部排成纵行，口围部排成环状。喇叭虫的表膜呈深浅间隔的纵条纹，内含粗壮的肌丝，若轻微触动，分布全身的肌丝猛烈收缩，于是口围关闭，身体团拢。大多数种类生活在淡水中，少数在海洋中。无性生殖为横裂，有性生殖为接合生殖。喇叭虫的再生能力十分强，人们常用切割手术研究它的细胞核在再生中的功能以及各种胞器的发生过程。 |
