补充资料:双峰寺
双峰寺为潮汕地区现存三大古寺之一,现为揭阳市文物保护单位,位于揭阳市区马山巷。宋绍兴十年(1140年)由僧人释法山创建。明洪武二十五年(1329年)扩建,扩建后规模宏大,遂与潮州开元寺、潮阳灵山寺并称“潮汕三大名刹”。后历经两次扩建重修,全国佛协主席赵朴初为寺宇题匾。重修后寺院呈四合院布局,中轴线上,依次为山门、前厅、大雄宝殿、泰佛殿,有东西两廊。寺中有历代文人雅士碑刻岁通,现存“虎”、“寿”二方,“虎”字系清同治年间提督张国栋手迹;“寿”字碑则从宋初理学家陈传手迹拓刻。泰佛殿为楼阁式,正殿中金身泰式佛像一座,相传走近,其耳钩即不断轻摇,被传为异事。
