This paper reports the experimental equipment and technology parameter for the synthesis of diisopropylbenzene and triisopropylbenzene by catalytic alkylation between benzene and propene, the conversion of benzene is more than 98%,the selectivity of diisopropylbenzene and triisopropylbenzene is more than 40% and 36% respectively.

性质:使石油中烯烃(C3~C5)异构与烷烃进行烷基化反应生成具有高辛烷值的烷基化汽油所用的催化剂。通用的是浓硫酸或氢氟酸。也有用磷酸的。硫酸一般采用浓度为98%,氢氟酸为85%~90%。磷酸的浓度则略低一些。氢氟酸剧毒,且易于挥发(常压下沸点为19.4℃),有些国家已限制使用。硫酸和磷酸的腐蚀性很强,产生的废酸对环境污染也很严重。因此,所用设备、管道要选用耐酸防腐的材料,废酸必须进行处理。新的、腐蚀轻微的效果更好的催化剂正在研究中。
