性质：又称涂膜缺陷。涂料在被涂物件上施工过程、涂膜形成过程和成膜后存在的不符合质量要求的现象。不同的涂料品种产生不同的涂膜病态。其产生的内因是涂料内在质量，外因是施工过程的环境、被涂物状态、施工工艺、工具和操作方法等因素。常见的涂膜病态有50余种，每种病态的病因可多达7~8种。要针对病因采取预防措施；（1）在施工过程易出现的病态有流坠、刷痕、粗粒、缩孔、发白、橘皮等；（2）在成膜过程易出现的病态有起皱、缩边、色发花、干燥不良等；（3）干燥成膜后易出现的病态有失光、褪色、开裂、粉化、回粘、生锈等。
