性质:又称临界常数或临界系数。各种实际气体处于其临界状态时的温度、压力和具有的摩尔体积分别称为该气体的临界温度Tc、临界压力Pc及临界摩尔体积Vm,c,而Tc、pc、Vm,c统称为实际气体的临界参量。一种实际气体的临界温度Tc,是该种气体加压时能够液化的最高温度。若温度高于其Tc,则无论怎样加大压力均不能使该种气体液化。临界压力pc是当实际气体处于临界温度时欲使其液化所需施加的最小压力。1mol某种实际气体处于临界温度与临界压力时所具有的体积是其临界摩尔体积Vm,c。
