In light of a series of problems currently existing at the Steelworks such as the large-scale slagging equipment unable to be used for small ladles,leading to liquid iron for steelmaking with big slag-containing content,impacting the quality of smelting products and increasing cost,this paper puts forth solutions with the view of elevating products quality and reducing cost and consumption.

This paper introduces a succession of measures which aiming at the difficulty of long-distance liquid iron transport for steelmaking, to strengthen the railway transport, develop the iron heatpreservation and the steel-making tenchnics.
