zhungaer Pendi ziron ziyuan准噶尔盆地自然资源(natu撇二souI’ces of Zhun罗erbasin)准噶尔盆地位于阿尔泰山与天山之间，呈不等边三角形，面积约18万平方千米。盆地由东南向西倾斜，中部有中国第二大沙漠—古尔班通古特沙漠，面积4.88万平方千米。沙漠97%的面积为固定和半固定沙丘，植被覆盖率为巧%~50%，是优良的冬季牧场。盆地四周分布着宽广的洪积砾石戈壁带及洪积冲积平原绿洲带。平原带有黄土层覆盖，天山雪水灌溉绿洲建设逐年扩大，目前达2以l)多平方千米。 平原地区〕10℃积温达3500℃左右，无霜期170天左右，年降水量100~300毫米。水热同期，昼夜温差大，有利于各类作物生长。盆地内有耕地2010多万亩。除主要粮食作物外，北部平原以油料作物为主，南部以棉花、甜菜、啤酒花等为主。新疆是中国的主要牧区之一，其中绵羊、细毛羊占全国首位，草食畜存栏数为第二位，北疆占全疆的48.7%。 准噶尔盆地矿产品种多，储量丰富，敏矿、白云母、长石和膨润土矿探明储量居全国首位，铬铁矿、煤、油页岩、黄金、芒硝、铿矿、镍矿、担矿、妮矿和盐矿等占有重要地位。稀有金属矿集中在阿勒泰地区，芒硝、油页岩、煤矿集中在乌鲁木齐及其以东地区。其中，煤炭资源总量约为12《刀〕~16《X幻亿吨，前景十分可观。石油和天然气是北疆重要的能源矿产资源。独山子和青石峡(今克拉玛依)油田开发历史较早。现已发现油气田12个，累计探明储量9.73亿吨，居全国第五位，天然气储量82.5亿立方米。北疆油气资源优势不但储量大，埋藏浅，而且品质优良，多低硫环烷稀质原油。主要油田有克拉玛依、百口泉、红山咀、火烧山、独山子、予街和彩南等。 除中部的沙漠景观外，北疆自然旅游资源主要分布在盆地周边。著名的有阜康天池、乌鲁木齐水磨沟温泉、乌尔禾风蚀地貌“魔鬼城”等。(李容全)
