This article analyzes the difference of the traditional leaching layer blind drain and the geotextiles blind drain, introduces the geotextiles applyin g on the drainage under highway and the designing principle of the soil sustaini ng, filter, preventing-block of the geotextiles, approves the applying effects of the geotextiles on the blind drain by the measuring data of the drainage faci lity.

The results of anti-sliding stability analyses on an upstream gangue-dam have been used in this present paper to make simultaneous analyses on the effects of heitening the dam saturation line condition, operation state of drainage system and reduced lens on the anti-sliding stability of the gangue dam.
